Deckclere - Treatment & protection against mould & algae for boats

Protection against the Environment

Deckclere is a medium-strength, water-based protection system against algae and mould that can be applied directly to the topsides of boats including boat decking, boat furniture, canvas awnings and dodgers, standing and running rigging, as well as on boat hulls, using a garden hosepipe with a standard Hoselock™ connector or similar and the supplied, easy-to-use applicator, turning a task that could take several days into one that can be completed in under an hour.

There is no need to use pressure sprayers or brushes to apply the product making Deckclere particularly effective in and around awkward areas such as the base of the mast, vents, cowls and port holes where algae and mould tend to build quite rapidly. Quick, easy and safe to apply, there is no need to worry about overspray into the water if the boat is being treated whilst still afloat.

Effective on both GRP and timber surfaces, if used on new wood it will keep it looking new though some natural weathering of the timber may occur. Unlike many products, Deckclere will not cause damage to aluminium or stainless steel fittings.

Environmentally Friendly

Environmentally friendly, Deckclere controls 99.99% of all known bacteria, mould, fungi and algae. It contains no toxic chemicals such as creosotes or aldehydes and it does not break down in sunlight. There is no need for special preparation of surfaces and Deckclere can be applied over existing wood treatments.

Unlike many other products on the market Cleresolutions’ products do not require protective equipment when applying the product as directed.
